Where is this training held?
We present our sessions on-site at your office or facility. That way, we are able to give information tailored to each group and building structure. We also travel nationwide (travel charges apply.) All classes will be held at an indoor shooting range.
Is it possible to learn about violent situations without causing unnecessary fear and anxiety?
Yes. Training and knowledge are the best remedies against fear. As with any other disaster, the chances of being involved in a violent encounter are very slim. However, just like fire, tornado, or earthquake drills, having a plan and being prepared will give you much-needed confidence ahead of time.
Do I need to have any military/LE/fighting skills to participate?
No. Our classes are geared toward civilians of any background. Any person should be able to make use of the material taught in our sessions. Additionally, as many of our instructors are longtime SWAT officers, even experienced students will have a chance to learn a lot.
How long are the training sessions?
Our training sessions are 2, 4, and 8 hours. We can also provide a 2-hour realistic scenario training, and building assessments as well. If you require a customized training schedule, just let us know.
What is the difference between your armed aggressors response sessions and online programs such as the “Run Hide Fight” video?
There is no such thing as too much training. We hope everyone has taken the time to watch FBI and Homeland Security-backed PSAs. However, in-depth training is only as good as the instructor. Many of Centurion’s instructors have years of SWAT team experience and have personally responded to innumerable incidents. There is also no replacement for hands-on training, and the ability to ask questions.
