Mark Braley
Captain (Retired)
Mark Braley is a retired police Captain with more than 20 years of law enforcement experience. He served as a division commander in patrol, administrative bomb squad commander, narcotics supervisor, and an incident command instructor. Mark is an advanced ICS instructor and attended the FBI’s National Academy class #253.
He served on the SWAT team for 12 years as entry and finally as lead sniper. Mark shot competitively on the police pistol team and in the military. His real world experience with explosives and small arms comes from his service in the U.S. Army and Oklahoma National Guard. Mark has served in several overseas assignments, including Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He retired as a First Sergeant in 2008.

George Mauldin

George Mauldin is a retired police lieutenant with more than 29 years of law-enforcement experience. He was a member of the SWAT team for 15 years and was assigned as the Sniper Team Leader for six years. Retired Lt. Mauldin was also a member of the Bomb Squad for 20 years, serving as Bomb Squad Commander for 10 years.
Lt. Mauldin was the senior bomb technician on the scene of the 2005 OU Stadium bombing and coordinated all bomb squad activities during this incident and the subsequent investigation. He received the Police Commendation Bar for his management of the Bomb Squad response to hundreds of “white powder” incidents in the fall of 2001 following the anthrax attacks on the east coast.
Lt. Mauldin attended a number of advanced training courses including the FBI Large Vehicle Bomb Render Safe Procedures Course, Technical Emergency Response Training for CBRNE at the Center for Domestic Preparedness, and the FBI SWAT Sniper Course.
In 2013, Mr. Mauldin retired from the police department and took the position of the Director of Safety and Emergency Management for Cleveland County. He managed the response and recovery activities for the May 19, 2013 tornado and the May, 2015 flooding events in Cleveland County.
Sgt. (Retired) Tim Smith
Tim Smith currently works for Oklahoma Department of Homeland Security as the Southwest Regional Representative, Oklahoma School Security Institute. Previously he was a police sergeant with over 28 years of law enforcement experience, and was assigned to the traffic enforcement unit as a motorcycle officer and a Team Leader of the Peer Support Response Unit.
Sgt. Smith has developed and instructed classes for the police academy, law enforcement continuing education and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics on topics ranging from, Problem Oriented Policing, CPTED, and How to Teach Children About the Dangers of Drugs. Most recently Sgt. Smith instructed on a national level speaking on the topics of Peer Support and PTSD.
During his career Sgt. Smith has worked a variety of assignments including, patrol, crime prevention, D.A.R.E., community service, and traffic enforcement. He has received numerous awards including the Matthew Scott Evans Memorial Award for advocacy and education.

Captain Tony Riddles
Qualifications
Tony is currently a Captain with the Norman Police Department and has more than 25 years of law enforcement experience. He has served in many different roles within the agency to include: patrol officer, child abuse investigator, patrol supervisor, criminal investigations supervisor, and narcotics division supervisor. Captain Riddles was a member of the department’s SWAT team for 20 years and retired from the team earlier this year as the Assistant Commander. He is certified to instruct in a variety of law enforcement areas including: law enforcement driver training, chemical agents and less lethal uses of force.
Chief Jay Callaghan
Jay Callaghan has over 25 years of law enforcement experience. He started his law enforcement career in 1994 with the Phoenix Police Department. In 1996, he joined the Norman Police Department where he served in the Patrol Division, Investigations, SWAT, and in Training. In 2009, he was promoted to lieutenant.
Jay is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University, where he was a standout linebacker; earning All-conference honors three times. Jay and his wife, Danielle reside in Loveland, Colorado where Jay is Captain of the Patrol Division at Colorado State University.

Sergeant (Retired) Robert Wasoski
Qualifications
Sergeant Robert Wasoski (retired) is currently the Instructor/Coordinator for the Moore-Norman Technology Center Peace Officer Certification Program. He is from Barnsdall, Oklahoma and received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Economics from the University of Oklahoma. He is a CLEET and NRA certified firearms instructor.
Sergeant Wasoski previously served as the training officer for the Norman Police Department (NPD), where he served in the Patrol and Training divisions for over 26 years. He trained cadets in the police academy and provided annual in-service training for other officers. The training division was also responsible for research and implementation of new tactics and training techniques.
At NPD, Sergeant Wasoski also provided Basic Law Enforcement Driver training, Taser training, and Fitness training, and was a member of the bike team. He was a departmental armorer for handguns, shotguns, and rifles and served on the SWAT Team for 17 years and on the Pistol Team for 9 years.
Jessica Smith
MHR, LPC
Jessica has been trained in Critical Incident Stress Management and Gottman Level 1 and Level 2. She is also an EMDR trained clinician and provides therapeutic services to first responders, spouses, couples, adults and adolescents who have experienced trauma. She is currently the mental health advisor for several local police departments throughout the state including the Mustang Police and Fire Department, Norman Police Department, Moore Police Department, Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office and the Yukon Police Department.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma and then went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to becoming a therapist, Jessica was a Forensic Interviewer and she worked as a group therapist at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center working with children and adolescents with sexual behavior problems. Currently she is an adjunct professor at the University of Oklahoma in the Department of Human Relations.
Jessica subscribes to a client-centered approach when working with her client and tends to incorporate elements of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into her sessions depending on the needs of each individual client. She works with issues such as trauma, grief, depression, PTSD, anxiety, anger, family conflict, parenting, coping skills and stress management.
Jessica is married to a retired police officer and the two of them have presented various trainings and workshops to law enforcement officers on a local and national level.

Tania Woods

Tania Woods graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2001 with a master’s degree in Social Work. She received her Clinical License in 2003.
Prior to becoming employed by the City of Moore, Mrs. Woods was employed by the Oklahoma department of mental health and substance abuse services (ODMHSAS). She has served people in Oklahoma by providing services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
For the past fifteen years, Mrs. Woods has assisted law enforcement agencies in training officers in up to date and relevant mental health training. In this role she organized the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) trainings across Oklahoma and provided mental health in-service trainings to police officers, probation and parole officers, as well as correctional officers. She also teaches the mental health block for the basic police academy for the Oklahoma Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) as well as other academy cities.
Mrs. Woods has also overseen the Programs of Assertive Community Treatment teams, Behavioral Health Case Management, Crisis Intervention Team training, the day reporting program, female diversion programs, and jail diversion programs for the State.
After May 20 2013, Mrs. Woods was assigned the project director of the ODMHSAS OK Strong program assisting in the May tornado recovery efforts. She led a team of over 40 employees in assisting those affected by the May storms in 5 counties across the state. Her team was integral in working with the children and staff of Plaza Towers and Briarwood Elementary schools in their recovery as well as many other community members. During this time Mrs. Woods received the ODMHSAS central office employee of the year award.
Most recently Mrs. Woods was asked to join the Oklahoma FBI threat assessment team as the mental health consultant and received the FBI Director’s community leadership award in the area of violence prevention.
